A+ Learnership Academy is one of the largest accommodation venues in the Northern Free State. It was the very first hostel built by Anglo-American in Welkom during the ‘Goldfields mining rush’ of the 1950s. The building has been fully upgraded over the last year and now boasts 125 upgraded rooms, a canteen, kitchen, dining areas, showers, various lounges, study facilities with Wireless Internet Access, a large entertainment area, storage facilities, private flatlets and much more. In order to provide affordable, reliable and safe accommodation, we have implemented 24-hour security guards and an access control system which ensures the safety of all of our valued customers. We have been providing accommodation to various entities since the year 2000 and have an extremely good track record and standing in the community.Our property is situated at 250 Koppie Alleen Road which is one of the main roads leading into Welkom and is strategically located nearby various Training & Learning Institutions, taxi pick-up points and only 3km from the CBD.
The company’s aim has always been to provide secure, affordable and reliable accommodation to all of our clients with great focus on bettering lives in the community through working together and showing respect for one another. We are the official accommodation provider of various municipalities and training institutions around South Africa. We specialize in long term accommodation and are currently housing many trainees, students and various contractors from all over South Africa.
Our building consists of four accommodation wings. Each wing consists of 30 upgraded bedrooms, bathrooms, ablutions and a laundry. The double-storey wings are connected by a central passageway which gives all clients easy access to the communal amenities consisting of various Lounges, Study Rooms, Kitchen, Dining Area, Entertainment Room & Garden Area.
